Bio

Anwar 'Anweezy' Ahmed is an Ethiopian-American producer, songwriter, and label head based in Los Angeles (raised in Falls Church, Virginia). His Spotify catalog spans lo-fi R&B, hip-hop, and collaborative singles with artists including Shiloh Dynasty, Aqua Raps, Wetball, Rxdeboy, and Bri-C — from the Shades of Shiloh series to 2026 releases like low fade, W Bush, and the BUSHRA'S DIAMOND II project. Before music full-time he studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Penn State and worked as a software engineer; in 2017 he left that path to build Aktiv Records / Aktiv Social, working across production, A&R, and marketing with hundreds of creatives. Inspired by the career models of Murda Beatz, benny blanco, and DJ Khaled, he also released the Zeineb's Protégé Series spotlighting rising talent. Active through 2026 with new singles and collabs, he keeps a strong presence on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Linktree while growing a mid-tier streaming audience.
