Bio

Andy Leech is an atmospheric ambient, future garage and chillstep producer from the east coast of Scotland, based in Kirkcaldy near Edinburgh. With a degree in audio engineering and a catalogue stretching back to his 2013 debut, he has spent over a decade crafting emotive, surrealistic soundscapes built on ethereal melodies, complex rhythms and rich textures. His sound draws on influences like Tycho, Burial and Nils Frahm, and he has become a cornerstone of the modern future-garage and ambient community. He releases prolifically - more than 80 projects to date - through the Insight Music label, and his work spans atmospheric ambient, chilltrap, future bass and dubstep. His latest project "Early Years" arrived in May 2026. Notably, he has stepped back from heavy social-media use to focus on the music itself, letting consistent releases and a loyal listener base drive his ~117k monthly Spotify audience.
