anbuu is a Paris-based electronic and lo-fi producer and multi-instrumentalist known for groovy, sample-led instrumentals that sit between chillhop, downtempo, and melodic electronic. He started publishing trap tracks on SoundCloud in 2018, joined the LMTLESS collective, then shifted toward electronic and lo-fi textures in 2019—marking the turn with the collaboration EP Thermal alongside Shortfatty. Since 2020 he has released with Chillhop Music, Radio Juicy, and Majestic Casual, building a catalog of collaborations with goosetaf, Blue Wednesday, L’indécis, Pandrezz, and others. His 2025 album from far away (via Lofi Girl) and 2026 Chillhop single Beaugrenelle highlight his sampling craft and live instrumentation—funky guitar, violin, and xylophone accents over warm drums. Based in France, he remains highly active with multiple 2026 singles and regular Chillhop Essentials placements.
