Born in Venezuela of Lebanese heritage, Amal Nemer is a Miami-based DJ and producer who has become one of the city’s most exciting electronic exports since launching her career there in 2020–2021. She builds tech house, afro house, latin house, and melodic house with an architect’s eye—constructing tracks in Ableton like buildings and working at speed. Her catalog spans labels including Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Nervous Records, Made in Miami, and Farris Wheel, with Beatport Top 100 placements on tracks such as Shot Por Mi, Suavecito, and Amal’s Dream. In 2024 she launched Manifest, her own party and imprint, as a space for escapism, hope, and dance. Prolific through 2025–2026 with a steady run of singles and EPs (including La Mañana, The Key, and Breath EP), she also plays festivals and club dates across the US and abroad. Amal means “hope,” and that optimism runs through her percussion-forward sound.
