Bio

Alinka is a Chicago house DJ and producer of Ukrainian descent, now based in Berlin. She arrived in Chicago from Ukraine in the late '80s and spent nearly a decade in the city's club scene — including a long warm-up residency at Smart Bar — before relocating to Berlin in 2015, where she holds residencies including the legendary Panorama Bar. In 2012 she co-founded the Twirl parties and record label alongside former Hercules & Love Affair vocalist Shaun J. Wright, a platform devoted to keeping the Chicago house tradition weird and forward-looking. Her own productions and remixes have appeared on labels such as Classic Music Company, Crosstown Rebels, Rekids, Gudu, Permanent Vacation and Correspondant, and she has reworked artists including The Juan MacLean, Adam Port and Spencer Parker. A relentlessly prolific producer, she drops new acid-tinged house singles almost monthly, with recent 2026 cuts like 'Hypnotic', 'Changes' and 'It's Magic'. In 2025 she became the first international resident at Kyiv's acclaimed CLOSER club.
