Alexis Chang is a 22-year-old DJ, artist, music producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and all-around passionate creative based in New York, Los Angeles, and New Haven, CT. She is an ardent community leader, hoping to make space for more young, queer, non-binary BIPOC artists like herself in music. Since teaching herself to produce original beats at 14, Alexis has since released two self-produced, written, mixed and engineered singles, as well as gaining production credits on a number of singles since 2020. These include Rochester, New York’s very own Montrael’s “X” in 2021, as well as Pocket Jazz 2022 project. Her latest release to date is Giving Myself All I Got in July 2022, and she is currently working to release her debut album in 2024. In 2021, Alexis performed at Brooklyn Museum alongside Joji’s pianist as a part of artist Felukah’s band. She has blessed the stages and decks of venues including: The Sultan Room and Littlefield in Brooklyn, Stella Blues in New Haven, and The Reserve and The Lodge Room in Highland Park, CA. She’s had even had the opportunity to open for BET-nominated artist Flo Milli in March 2021.
