Alex Wilcox is an American producer, live performer, and DJ based in Berlin, with a winding path through Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, and Detroit — including stints at Underground Resistance HQ with Mike Banks and studio work alongside pop producers in Hollywood. Since emerging around 2022, he has released on Nina Kraviz's Trip, Ellen Allien's UFO Inc., Mama Told Ya, bbbbb records, and BPitch, with tracks supported by Richie Hawtin, SPFDJ, Bjarki, Anetha, and Nina Kraviz at Berghain and festivals worldwide. His sound spans acid techno, IDM, and genre-bending club music — from the hooky 'Sleep Paralysis' breakout to the eight-track BANG BANG BANG! album and 2025's Identity Crisis. In June 2026 he dropped the Rumpelstiltskin EP on Trip, described as glassy, chiptune-heavy production with fairy-tale atmosphere. His hybrid live sets feature only his own productions, hard cuts, and dramatic BPM swings.
